Obituary - PringleJohn Strean (Jack) PRINGLE On 14 January Jack passed away in Tauranga, aged 91 years. Mr Pringle – with the endearing title 'dog', because of his very distinctive bark when he was reminding students that they should already be in class, taught at the College in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Jack had a long standing association with rugby while at the College and lept in touch with members of his successful 1st XV rugby teams right up until his death. After leaving OtahuhuCollege, he moved to Tauranga Boys’ High where he remained until his retirement from teaching. Jack is survived by his four children and eight grandchildren.
